How do I set a monthly budget?
Simple steps for beginners.
A budget is a plan, not a punishment. It helps you decide consciously where the money goes.
Collect the data
Review your expenses from the last 2–3 months in the “Charts” and “Average spending” windows.
Choose categories to cut
Decide which categories you want to reduce (e.g. food, entertainment).
Set limits
In the “Budgets” window set limits slightly below your current spending. Introduce changes gradually.
Track progress
Check the progress bars once a week and react when they turn orange.
